Paragon Relocation Announces Appointment of Steve Williams, Director of Global Client Accounting

Paragon Relocation, a leading provider of global relocation management services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Williams as Director, Global Client Accounting at Paragon’s Coppell, Tx service center. In this newly created position, Williams will be responsible for expanding Paragon’s Global Client Accounting team and executing client contracts, guidelines, policies and procedures.

Prior to joining Paragon, Williams previously worked for Cartus and Primacy as Director, Expense Services. In his most recent role, Williams managed a team handling new client implementations as well as providing on-going support for existing corporate clients. His experience also includes managing Solomon and Equus software applications.

Williams has more than 20 years of industry experience and holds a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation from Worldwide ERC®.

Paragon Relocation Announces Appointment of Susan Myers, Director of Global Client Accounting

Prior to joining Paragon, Myers previously worked for Prudential Relocation as Global Compensation Manager. During her time at Prudential, Myers significantly expanded the Compensation Service offerings, building a global center of excellence in the Phoenix office. During her tenure, Myers’ responsibilities also included oversight of the cost management function for key clients. She also led the financial operations of Liquid Production as their controller.

Myers holds a bachelor of science in Accounting and an MBA both from the University of Phoenix.  She has also received the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation from Worldwide ERC®.

Paragon Relocation Donates to the North Texas Food Bank

Paragon’s Coppell office recently made a contribution to the Food 4 Kids program to provide more than 200 backpacks of food to children in the North Texas area.

“Paragon employees are dedicated to improving the lives of those in the communities in which we live and work. Our Coppell office is extremely engaged in supporting local charities and we are always proud of the initiative and generosity they show,” said Craig Selders, President of Paragon Relocation.

The Food 4 Kids program helps to eliminate hunger among children by providing backpacks full of nonperishable, kid-friendly, nutritious food to chronically hungry children on Friday afternoons to last throughout the weekend. Each backpack contains four meals. The program currently serves over 325 schools in 32 schools districts across Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Hunt, Rockwall, and Kaufman counties. Currently, over 8,000 children receive a backpack each week.

Paragon Relocation, a leading provider of global relocation management services, underscored the company’s commitment to a growing global presence by expanding current operations in the Netherlands to encompass both Belgium and Luxembourg as well.  While already providing service in the area through Paragon Relocation–Holland, this strategic expansion will allow more direct presence in region.  The new Paragon Relocation–Benelux office will be led by Geoff Mills, Director of Global Relocation Services.

Mills moved from the UK to the Netherlands in 1996 and worked as section head/project manager for Philips in Nijmegen. He has worked in the relocation industry more than 6 years.  Most recently, he was the managing director of Paragon Relocation–Holland.  As Director of Global Relocation Services for Paragon Relocation–Benelux, Mills will focus on both operations and account management responsibilities within the region as well as in the UK and Ireland.

Paragon Relocation, a leading provider of global relocation management services, underscored the company’s commitment to its core value of community involvement through a number of fundraising initiatives at Paragon offices around the globe to benefit Japanese tsunami relief efforts. These fundraising activities included a “Pie-in-the-Face” contest, bake sales and selling homemade recipe books. Employees in Paragon’s Dublin, Ireland office won the interoffice contest by raising more than $50 per employee.

Through these activities, employees raised over $3,500. Coupled with a corporate donation through Paragon’s employee donation matching program, in total Paragon donated $7,029.75 in financial contributions to several organizations across the globe involved in relief efforts, including the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.

“Paragon employees have always stepped up to help others when the need was there. Once again I am impressed by their level of commitment to help our friends in Japan cope with their current crisis,” said Joseph Morabito, CEO of Paragon.

Paragon Relocation’s Amanda Ward Appointed to Worldwide ERC® Regional Committee

Amanda Ward of Paragon Relocation has been appointed to the Worldwide ERC Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) committee.  The EMEA committee’s primary purpose is to provide information on global workforce issues in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, which will enable Worldwide ERC to develop services and programs to serve the industry in the EMEA region. This committee is comprised of a distinguished group of global experts that crosses industries and geographies.  Positions on the EMEA committee are awarded based on the invitation of Committee Chairman, Jane Collette Mabbitt, Associate Director of Global Mobility for Ernst & Young.

“Amanda is a key member of the Paragon’s staff, specifically in Europe. Her participation in the EMEA ERC committee will be an opportunity to share her wealth of knowledge with the industry as a whole.” said Joseph Morabito, President and CEO of Paragon.

Ward is a Director of Global Consulting Services at Paragon Relocation, where her role includes client implementations in EMEA and Asia. She joined Paragon in 2010 and brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from her previous positions in Price Waterhouse Coopers, GMAC and Emigra. Ward has also completed expatriate assignments in both Singapore and Moscow. Currently, she is based out of Paragon Relocation’s office in London.

Paragon’s Thomas True Announced as Treasurer of the Executive Board of Directors of the Southern California Relocation Council

Thomas True of Paragon Relocation has been appointed to his second term as treasurer on the Executive Board of Directors of the Southern California Relocation Council (SCRC).  SCRC’s primary purpose is to improve the services offered to relocating employees and their families by working with relocation professionals. True is among only four industry colleagues to hold a position on this board.  A position on the executive board is awarded on the basis of being elected by gaining a majority of votes from SCRC members. True will serve as treasurer for the 2011-2012 term.

“Tom is a valuable member of the Paragon staff and a great asset to the industry as a whole, his participation in this local relocation chapter will be an asset to Paragon.” said Joseph Morabito, President and CEO of Paragon.

True is Vice President of Global Relocation Services at Paragon Relocation. His responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients based in the West Coast region. True holds his Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation from Worldwide ERC® and is a Six Sigma Green Belt certified by Villanova University.  He has an undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut State University.

Paragon Relocation donates more than $6,000 to charity in 2010

Paragon Relocation, a leading provider of global relocation solutions, underscored the company’s commitment to its core value of community involvement through a number of charity initiatives. As a part of the employee donation matching program, Paragon has given $6,674 in financial contributions to various charities that are valued by Paragon employees.

In addition, through a new program introduced this year, Paragon made a $5 donation for each hour a Paragon employee worked for a charitable organization.  Since October, when the program was introduced, 87 employee volunteer hours were paid, which equaled an additional donation of $345.

“We are excited and proud of our employees’ efforts to give both financially, as well as through volunteer time throughout 2010. This is a reflection of what has always been a core value at Paragon and speaks volumes with regard to the quality of our employees,” said Joseph Morabito, CEO of Paragon.

Most recently, Paragon employees held food drives in several communities, which resulted in donations of more than 200 lbs. of food to local food banks.  Additionally, employees raised money through raffles and contests to benefit other charitable organizations, including Toys for Tots.
