The biggest change over last years results is the number of Germans relocating to the United States for work. For the first time in 5 years, Germany tops the United Kingdom as sending the most employees to work in the United States. This change was a result of a 24.9% rise in the number of employees relocating from Germany to the the United States, while both the United Kingdom and China saw notable declines in the number of employees relocating to the US for work.

The reason for the additional international relocation opportunities from Germany to the United States might be because the German economy is growing at almost 5% percent a year now in spite of the financial situation throughout the Eurozone. The Germans are using this as an opporutnity to find new investments and business opportunities throughout the world. Additionally, there are some reports that Germany is even stronger than some of their Chinese competitors in specific niche industries. Therefore, it might be that rise in the number of Germans relocating to the United States is a positive reflection on the German economy as whole rather than a positive reflection on new opportunities that relate to growth in the US economy.
